COVID Care is a 501c3 nonprofit created by a group of high school students from Johns Creek, Georgia who decided to make a change in the fight against the ever-growing COVID-19 virus. Our primary goal is to assemble care boxes with essential items for hygienic purposes such as a face mask, hand sanitizer, soap, and a cue card on how to protect yourself from COVID-19. We plan on manufacturing hundreds of these boxes monthly and distributing them to the needy in our community in areas of metropolitan Atlanta. So far, our non profit organization has already distributed over 500 boxes to the various homeless shelters and nonprofits in metro Atlanta that we have partnered with.
Take a moment to watch the second part of our mini-documentary to learn about what our nonprofit does and how you can help.
In the midst of a global health crisis, it is important for us to do our part to ensure that others less fortunate than us can get the help and the resources they deserve. We wish to inspire a youth movement to make a difference in whatever way we can, from volunteering out on the streets to understanding the situation better at home. Our nonprofit is willing to take the fight anywhere, and we wish to utilize all of our resources and abilities to help those affected by this global pandemic. We hope that we can return to normalcy soon, but as of now, we will be working every day to ensure that our communities are in a better shape than they were yesterday. Just remember, as long as we stay UNITED, anything is possible, and we will get through this together.
